Since 2000, Flanders Opera has partnered with Orbit One for the development and maintenance of their public information portal.
Flanders Opera’s entire programme has been automated and can be displayed on the site in several ways.
Via the dynamic calendar, visitors can see which performances run on a certain date. By clicking on the date in question, the visitor calls up a short description of the performance. In the right navigation, links guide the visitor to more detailed information such as 'Cast', 'The story', 'Background', 'Photos' and 'Audio'. In addition, all dates and locations of the performance in question are displayed.
The site contains a registration system for different user groups: students, teachers and the press. Members of the press receive access to press releases and all available pictures in high resolution. After logging in, teachers can access educational packages.
The online ticketing system enables visitors to order tickets and subscriptions.
