Marnix 2001 Project
At the end of 2000, Brussels welcomed the successor to the Marnix 2000 project aptly called Marnix 2001. Find out more about Marnix 2000 here.
The aim of the Marnix 2001 project was to attract an even larger audience. A year on from Marnix 2000, more advanced technology has opened up whole new horizons, leading the way to an even more impressive project.

Marnix 2001Even more impressive? Undoubtely!
This time around, a whole new site was created, including a new Animation Interface with a whole aray of new functions, including a timeline which enables you to navigate easily through the animation. Furthermore digital video formats can now be imported into the animations. Plus there's a "magic-wand" function and an enhanced colour library. The speed of the Animation Interface has also been improved.
There have been some changes behind the screen too. The DMX server -which controls the lamps- has been expanded to support a LED display which displays the title of the animation playing, as well as its creator.
The whole thing can be watched via the wireless webcam, which produces a new picture of the Matrix every 7 seconds. ORBSnapCam software has been used for the webcam.
