Ycomm Europe NV is the European base of the Yamagata Printing Group.

Yamagata Group handles every step in the production of technical manuals, from technical writing to packaging.
Every month approximately 15 million manuals are printed from seven basic genres, including AV equipment, computers, telecommunications equipment, automobiles, and others.

The Ycomm project is designed as an internet-based project management system which enables Ycomm staff, customers and suppliers to co-operate efficiently on the whole development process of the manuals.

In short, the application covers every step in the process of creating manuals, from uploading files to the exact timing of printing the manual.

Products

The user can select any 'product' from the product category. The clients and suppliers can consult all specifications, project status, type, included languages and other custom properties of a chosen product.
Products are divided into 'recent products', 'ready for print products' and 'all archived products'.

Orders

In the orders section, a client can obtain detailed information about his orders, such as print status, stock, transport, etc. The client can sort his orders by most recent, completed or pending orders.

Library

The library contains a number of documents concerning purchasing orders, delivery, quality guidelines, etc. for each project. New documents can be uploaded at any time by the Ycomm staff in the Admin section.

Admin

In the Admin section Ycomm staff can manage the users and companies involved, adjust security levels (set different for each user), add library documents and search for user log entries.

The Ycomm extranet provides the company with better communication and lower communication costs, which will lead to a better organisation of the workflow.
